    true.
daghan na lexmark ang gipang close.

despite today's crisis, a lot of companies still manage to retain positive earnings...

i'll quote this one na lang sad

Lexmark is responding to the Global crisis correctly and doing it right no harm about closing plants or whatsoever.. I believe on the leadership of Paul and "the IBM way" of doing things done. I have friends who has been in the IBM printer division and still with Lexmark after 35years. They are still standing - For Cebu, it is only the beginning. The investments are pouring in - there's more to come.

2001 90+ ang per share. karon 25 nalang. looya sa ni avail sa stock options.

maskin unsa pa na ang diversity, a company is not run by robots. mao na magkatawa lang ko magbasa sa newspaper about "company A" is an EQUAL opportunity company... we do not discriminate.... bla bla.... but inig sulod nimo exact opposite sa gi advertise. hay. Rule of thumb, if a place is run by people naa gyud na ang corruption. The day that this ceases to exist is when a company is run by robots.

I have this nice little checklist that everyone seems to answer with an "all of the above" reaction.
    kickbully.com...where your fight begins

Mao na before mo mo comment sa mga "appeal" anang mga people in charge of a company work there first. you'd realize the image they project to the public are far different from who they really are. All the more if you are an individual of high stature. Kami kabalo man mi sa tinuod kai dira man mi gikan. Because the other part of that fairy tale is that another batch of directors in this said company is completely against the presence of this location in our country and that fight is far from civil.

I used to have 47 per share and sold it when it reach to the peak sometime in 2005 and in 2003 I have 85 per share given to me by my good friends in Lexmark. - it's not really a big deal to me. I still have the stock under my name in UBS but I have less care about it anymore.

Not everyone are happy but for me I'm still glad that LXK helped me to where I am right now working with the biggest software company in world.

I miss having the Christmas season 4Q when we will have our second half LIP bonus and then Christmas bonus last party I had was in Shangrilla in Mactan and then 13th month pay and then everybody are happy :P

I wish I could share your enthusiasm, pre.

well, sadly, i am not monetarily motivated because I made that clear to my manager, "Give me a goal to reach and I am here to help. If you don't then I am not interested even for all the money in LRDC." I'm sure you can relate naman siguro about having huge pay but a boring role. The experience you learn with the lesser pay is still an investment on your part for bigger financial rewards in the future.

Those bonuses I got I gave away to my parents and brother. Sigh....
