unsa na ang greenmarks/redmarksnka basa lang ko sa buy n sell corner...unsa na siya ka important in buying dogs with papers?

RED MARK/GREEN MARK - If you buy a dog that is PCCI registered it will show the pedigree of your dog, mura na cyag bloodline tree or family tree.hehehe

if an ancestor of your dog is marked red this means that the dog is a titled dog like phil champ, phil grand champ, phil HOF, or international champs like am champ, thai champ etc...

if an ancestor of your dog is marked green this means that the dog is a sire of merit or a dam of merit. a sire or dam of merit is a dog that has produced at least 8 litters that won titles.

dogs that has a lot of redmarks and greenmarks means that your dog has champion lineage and has an excellent pedigree.

mas daghan ug red or green mark magka mahal ang dog and possibly naay show potential.
but it doesnt mean that all dogs that have lots of red and green marks will not have faults(this only applies kung your into dog showing) pero kung pet lang dili nana needed ang marks2x hehehe

mas maayo na ang red and green marks kai naa sa 1st and 2nd generation since mas doul2x pa nga lineage...
3rd and 4th generations layo na kaayo na.

again redmarks and greenmarks only applies if your planning to buy a show dog and it doesnt necessarily mean na kung daghan na ug redmarks nindot najud.. knahanglan ghapn nimu i check if nindot ba jud ug conformation ang dog...

ang importante your happy and you love your dog red marks and green marks doesnt matter!

PCCI registerd imu dog pasabot ana documented na iya pedigree so cgurado jud ka ana na PURE and wala na mix somewhere in the dogs pedigree...

naka buy naka ug dog? sakto tanan na advise dapat research jud and interview dog owners to get enough knowledge, especially that the dog you are aiming at are large dogs. basin di ka makamaintain luoy ang dog. dapat pud mofit sa imong lifestyle, meaning if you are outdoor person then naay dog na ganahan magdagan2x such as lab,beagle,etc. if indoor lang and ganahan ka nga mosabaksabak nimo naa sad mga dogs na angay ana (tzu,poodle,doxie,chi,etc).

red and green marks can be applicable to other dog breeds specially conformation show breeds like shih-tzu's. at CV-GSDA(central visayas - german shepherd dog association) they dont take PCCI green or red marks as something to look at on the pedigree. if you will go with GSD(in which i strongly suggest compared to a husky) there is more than green or red marks to look at in which as i have said its NOT such a plus. with GSD's green and red marks on the PCCI is simply a cosmetic on paper what is important is the temperament and trainability. remember GSD's are working dogs. they were breed to work and not to pose or to stack in a conformation show.

13k-15k price range is usually "PET QUALITY" which means they are good as pets. schutzhund quality and good german line are around twice to trice the said figure.

one BIG tip on first time GSD buyers, DONT buy GSD's in pet shops
