How to Get 2 Computers in the Same Online Game?


Anybody knows how to configure this?

Scenario:

I want to play the same game on the internet using 2 or more computers on the same network.

Ex. If I want to play DOTA all stars on the internet using 2 of my computers connected on the same network, i cant join the same game map simultaneously since we have practically the same public ip address.

Anyone have a solution for this?

i think your solution would be to ask the game vendor on how to deal with that. most games don't have problems with that kind of scenario.

playing with same IP over internet? wala pa man ko kabantay ana na situation... what specific game u talking about?

well im talking about gunzonline.
I have 4 pcs at home connected to globe dsl
i have a speedtouch 511 dsl modem connected to a switch then I assigned a static IP to each pcs, when i go online and play gunz.. di cla magkita even on the same map.
any solutions?

you cannot connect online games using 1 public ip address. NAT Translate from private to public IP(global ip). Not unless you have more public ip address. Because IP address are unique address, they should not be the same or else if will be conflict...That's y we have public ip for our dsl. They are registered ip address given by the ISP to connect us to the internet...
