Lexmark invested heavily in R&D not only in Cebu but worldwide - what makes you think the American counterparts would pull the trigger because of "cultural" behavior? Lexmark has global diversity and they value it either you are Chinese, Filipino, Indian, Korean, Russian.. whatever color of your skin //*.

as far as i know, Lexmark is still sending people to Lexington even if naa crisis sa US. And its good that you have the opportunity to travel to US for work and training. Its a big plus na for you and you get to enjoy the life sa US even if kadyot ra. dba?

EVERY company invests heavily on R&D so there's nothing extraordinary about this fact. If you ask anyone who's into product development R&D is the lifeblood of every corporation. Without it your products would become stagnant.

Invested specifically in Cebu - The Lexmark Tower is the big one from 15 workers to more than fifteen hundred regular workers or more now - that's a big investment that Stan convinced Paul and the stockholders to bring it for the organization. Does any other Fortune 500 companies are doing this in Cebu? because they believe in Cebu.. the workers in Cebu and the kind of talent that the Filipino can bring to the table of product innovation.
