comment ra ni akoa ha? if compE man gud, usually networking as in networking sa mga computers man ang mahatag nimo ug maaung pay. some also end up in software, lyk nako karon. in ece, iexpose man ka sa tanang klase sa electronic development, que digital elec, networking (di lang kay networking sa pc!), broadcasting, ug uban pa. but to sum it up, just go to where you think u will excel. ang sinugdanan sa levis bitaw, tailor ra man na xa ug karsones, di ba?

and usa pa, being a compE is not a guarantee nga makaabroad ka. naa jud uban, in a europe country, example, nga mangita jud ug license. so advantage sa ece... pero naa pod uban who prefers compEs with certifications....

i prefer both... course doesn't matter as long as you have expertise in a certain field.

If you are looking for versatility/flexibility, go for ECE. I have been in the ICT industry for 3 years now. I am an ECE, and am working in an ICT solutions provider company. We are looking mostly for ECE's. why? Because ECE can do the Job from networking, telephone systems, power and cable infrastructure. That means, a company's total communications infrastructure. Yes, CompE can do the Cisco, but can you do power? can you do cable infrastructure? can you do telephone systems? and excuse me, Cisco isn't the only name in Networking.

Looks like you have a lot more rice to eat.
