Yes Raptors. If Raptors aren't an option ... the F-35 in development certainly is and it uses a lot of the F-22's technology. The lowest amount being put into it by an individual country for development is a bit over 100 million. There ya go. Carry on.

In any case, my point is planes cost money. The Philippines doesn't have that money to spare. You can argue that is caused by corruption, the end result is the same, the Philippines doesn't have money.

What would the Philippines need an advanced aircraft for in the first place when the country is fighting rebels with Vietnam era technology? Any real outside threat the Philippines poses will be answered by the US anyway ... usually just by having a supercarrier sail by ... a supercarrier with the technology, cost, and weaponry many times more expensive and more advanced than the Philippines. Ask yourselves ... why does the Philippines need any kind of advanced aviation aircraft? The only thing that needs fixing is the safety record of the air force.

[QUOTE=flanker;3484030]There are jets that are use for ground support such as Su 25.

problema ana mga hi tech, ang maintenance. problema pud ta if maka palit ba ta og bala ana kay 1 missile would cost more than 20k, unya rebelde ray tirahan. maayo untag tanke ang tirahan kay murag dili ta lugi inig buhi sa missile. plus guerilla warfare man pud ang style anang mga rebelde so dili kaayo dako nga tabang kanang air support sa jets

PAF really needs a modern aircraft for ground support (such as i mentioned above) that can be easily deployed into the battlefield to make there operations effective...

Bangladesh one of the poorest country in the world has superb aircraft such as Mig 29 to battle against their rebels the Tamil Tigers.

Our neighbors Vietnam, Malaysia, & Indonesia already modernizing their Air Force by buying 3rd & 4th Generation fighters..

we shouldn't even have to bother using the country's budget to buy sh*t like this. Since we know that technologies for war become obsolete overtime.

We have more important issues in our country that needs to be prioritized.

Bro effective kaayo ng air support jets (Su 25).. dali rana cla e deploy & close combat pajud...its heavily armored safe ang pilot.

Well sakto ka... mahal ang missile... pero i think naa man ta budget para ani..

But I prefer to get helicopter gunships -
