HELP Should I let him go or not?

I had a relationship for 2 years but we keep it secret coz of some family issues.
But then one day, he told me honestly na mura ug gpol an na xa coz he want an
open relationship. On the spot we made a decision na mag buwag. That was very
sudden...After the break up I realized i really like him. So i told my family about us
and fight for him. My family said ok lng dw.Dili cla makapogos nko.And I informed him
about dat thru email. But he told me I should have done dat b4 and not just now...
He want some space sa daw. It really hurts me. I took all the risks maskin la nami...
I really want to win him back.......

Im very confused.....Sometimes space could lead to a complete end...
Should I let go or hope or wait...etc.....
