About Network Switch ?

Ang network switch na 8, 16 and 24 ports possible ba mo lag ? hangup ? freeze/steady ang lights ?possible ba.

suggestions what brand is good or better ( except CISCO )
feedbacks about the brand.
what type of setup like cabling.

pwede ba separate switches (e.g. existing 16 port switch then add another 8 or 16 ports )

i think duplex mismatch makapa hangup sa ports

also kanang mga violators sa port security

for other brands except cisco. 3com ra ako maka recommend. ang ganahan man gud nako sa cisco and 3com is competitive man gud kaau ilang multilayer switches, ang uban brand ambot kaha. ang Juniper bag.o lang sila na release sa ilang multilayer switch, pero kanang layer2 switches wala pa.

kong e cascade nimo duha ka switches use uplink ports (the faster one) as trunks

Pwede ra nimo i-cascade ang 8, 16 or 24 ports nga LAN Switch... Prefered brand is linksys since it is a cisco subsidiary... encountered hang-up sa switch with edimax. but sa linksys wala pa...

we used surecom 24 ports layer 2 switch as main switch..with cascade connection sa 8ports netgear switch/router/wireless so far i never encountered any problem on internet issues, but sometimes ang printer and files sharing lang mo hang-up....

Linksys... surecom ... how about TP-Link 24 ports rack type? have you guys tried it?

ive using TP-link 16 ports TL-sf1016d akong gamit wala man problema 24/7 turn on
