other than gaming?
enhance imo graphics output sa screen.
ka save ka RAM memory nimo.
i think mas maau ang performance sa pc regarding grahpics.
just consider a processor nga purpose is solely for graphics
with its own memory.
kung shared imo video mo consume pud na sa imo ram.
mas nindot kung naa ka video card kays magsalig ka onboard
Highly recommended kung mag vista64 bit, mas nindot tan-awon ang aero effects. However, kung mu palit ka ug videocard, ayaw ug palit ug baratohon just for the sake na naa ka videocard, kay they are just almost at par with onboard video, usik lang kwarta.
kung nag-budget kah, pilia lang ang video card nga di kaayo mahal pero nindot ang performance...
better performance sa tanan nga aspect:
ob-board graphics card shares your system RAM + processor uses the system RAM = extreme bottleneck not to mention integrated GPUs have limited functionality.
discreet graphics card has its own memory + processor has the system RAM for itself = lesser bottleneck.
think of it this way, suppose the computer is one big company and you have your IT people but no art department then tagaan nimo ug art works imong IT, di ba mohinay ilang output considering that they are multi-tasking. now, compare this one if you hire people intended for art works, IT is IT, graphics is graphics at a cost, which one do you think would be faster?
if your next question is, is it really worth it (performance) to shell out few extra bucks for performance, yes there's a BIG difference.
thx sa tanan at least ang ahong cpu na mura turtle with sedative mahimo nang turtle with steriods
if your monitor is < 22 inches, overkill ra ang 9500GT nga 1GB.
