My friend is JAUNDICED! What should I say to convince her to get a 2nd opinion?

lots of causes for jaundice.. range from mild causes like self-limiting hepa A to more serious probs like pancreatic cancer.

maybe her physician diagnosed her with simple viral hepatitis A which will just go away without treatment. and the reason she wont tell you that becoz shes just ashamed that she got the condition.

your right bro... a person may have a jaundice but it doesnt mean meron siyang hepatitis... (although jaundice is one form of abnormality sa liver)...

hi smurky! yesh yesh, i got my friend's phone number.. yeah sa sige nako research sa net about jaundice it does say not all cases are related to hepa.. was out of town a couple of days and my sis just saw her kanina at a despidida party of a mutual friend. her yellowishness toned down a bit, but its still there pa daw and she really lost a lot of weight, must've been the no protein diet thingy and go go sa sweets. same same, would answer any of your questions except na lang when you ask about updates bout her health same thing happens when you text her, she'll reply to everythin except when you ask how she is doing... when you call her and ask how she's doing she'll just flat out say "k ra man..." i'll try to ask again what shes prescribed to take, the other time i did all she just said that actually the doc prescribed just vitamins..??!! it just might be the same that Tory here mentioned nga green caps...

if the yellow color has toned down a bit...that probably means she is recovering...ang akin is...she is probably ulaw to admit whatever she has.

you just let her know that you are there for her no matter what and do not push her to do something she does not want to do...even if YOU THINK you know better.
