in terms of singing, halos na plaka sa Dreaming Trees ang DMB sa una.. but so far, lately, i was impressed with this cagayan band, really young bunch of guys, plaka nila ang mga "live versions" sa DMB.. kita ko nila latelyl pag fiesta didto, they haven't rehearsed in a long while but nindot gihapon..
Right. when you go to their website, first up is Leroi's picture...
and I'm wondering, and do forgive me for my ignorance... if a band will cover DMB and say, sings #41, how do they make up for the Sax if they don't have a member who plays the instrument?
in #41, that's a sax there, right?
hahahahaha when is this?

I think Cebuano musicians are capable of playing DMB songs. Ug walay violinist ug saxophonist, keyboard nalang.
Why pamper life's complexities when the leather runs smooth on the passenger seat?
i can never ever ever pull a carter! i wish i could! if i could do that, i wouldn't be in freaking law school right now.. i'd have other career options!!! hehehehe..
anyway, about Dreaming Trees, the singer Chad is now with UK Lily, Wayne Congmon, the drummer, Meme (guitarist) and Wesley Chiongbian (bassist) working on their respective businesses, uhmm... But i know that Wesley still plays from time to time albeit, briefly.. I think he's jamming with Poldo and Bisoi for a post-SATI project..
Don't know but can the Dave Matthews Band 'tastefully' cover any Cebuano band's song? Viva bisaya! hehehe.
I love DMB. I've seen them three times. Last one was on Aug. 19 at the Staples Center in LA. The day Leroi died and Dave announced it during the show. Everyone shed a tear. Watching them play Grey Street and Ants Marching live, i don't know if anyone would ever come close to that. Just a really great live band.
