    Default My 1st time installation experience (bow)


    PLDT just keeps getting better and better!! (LOL)

    I applied for their 990 325Kbps dsl + landline September 28, 2008. I asked the agent, "When will this be installed?"
    Then she answered, "Mga Friday na sir kay lahi na man gud ang amo installer. One week allowance ila gi ask.".
    I followed, "Dili pwede mainstall earlier?".
    She said, "Dili sir kay mao man jud na ang wait time.".
    Dismayed that it will take one week, I said, "Sige, siguradua lng nga Friday ha. Gatrabaho kog call center and wala ko time muabsent. Kung mao na ang date, mao jud na."
    She replied' "Yes Sir." Then I conformed 2 more times...

    Friday (One week after), I texted the agent, "Miss asa na man imong installer?"

    She replied, "Sir ni-ingon ba ko nga Friday? And ako ingon tawagi inig Friday." TOINKS!!! Where the heck was your head when we were talking face to face?

    Although I was already 97% pissed, I calmed myself and acted professionaly. Working in a call center as a tech support, I already know what to expect and what to do in things like these.

    So I told her that I do not have a landline, so I cannot call your installer. It is also not my job to contact customer becuase the installer should be the one confirming the notes or the account. I asked her to tell the tech all the info I provided her. Then I verified agian, and again if the tech will defintely come today.

    She said "YES".

    4 days had come and no tech dropped by my house. I was almost on the verge of transferring to smart bro when a tech came, and installed my phone. He did not install the dsl becuase he said there is a different tech for that. What the heck, that is the same! I cant beleive how s***** they are. It is so easy to install a service! Again, I calmed down...

    30 MINUTES AFTER THE INSTALLATION, I lost my dial tone!!!! WOW...

    ANd to make things great, the "tech for dsl texted me that he needs to call the number so that he can install dsl. This time I freaked out! "SIR NAA NA DIHA SA INYO SYSTEM, TANAWA IF NAA BA KOY DIAL TONE! AND IF MAGINSTALL KA, THERE WOULD BE NO NEED TO CALL. NAA KAY ADDRESS DHA AND NAA NAY PHONE LINE, I-ACTIVATE AKO PHONE IN YOUR END, THEN ARI IINSTALL AND DSL!" IF GANAHAN KA, IHATOD ANG KITA HUMAN NIMO ACTIVATE SA PHONE, PARA AKO NA LNG MAG INHStALL ANA."

    nakanga ang installer kay mas kamao pa ko niya. What the....

    Hirit pa siya pang last, sir anha ko later mga 3:30 PM. Ana ra ko, "Okay"

    Then namuti na pud ako mata hinuwat sa mga *bleeep*! wala juy nanunga!

    MGA SIR/MAAM nga tga PLDT, is this what you call service?! This is way, way, way, way off!...

    among pne 1 month na ga request for service, cge lang me sa-ad2xran.

    hasolkaayo kay gatuo silag dagko silag lawas or dako silag position.. unsa ra baya ila trabaho.kung huna2xon pwede ra ko mag install ana, basta tagaan lng ko nila sa activation code

    ana jud na bro.. kong nag smartbro paka pariha sa amo sa balay.. kay dali ra kaayo ka matauran.. gamay ra jud ang hasol nimo.. wala lang landline...

    bati sad ang connection... magkamang ug online games ang smartbro and depende sa location nimo gikan sa smart tower. if duol ka, natural nindot ug connection. since layo amo balay ug smart tower, wala ko nipili ani.

    kalma lang bro. ingana jud na sa kabusy sa inyo lugar daghan pa na sila giadtuan prior sa inyoha.

    sa ako 1 week man pud ang waiting time pero niabot in 5 days and na install man dayon. sa ako lang problema is wala na installan ug microfilter ang extension which gi complain nako, ila man pud gi butangan dayon with no extra charges.

    its the area lang jud busy na sila pirmi. you just hope na daghan na sila tig-install ana DSL kay kato gani sa ako duha ra sila ka siyudad. maayo unta daghan na sila para mas dali ilang trabaho.

    nahibawan ra diay nako na kana diayng mga tig install ana dili man jud na sila permanente sa pldt, kum baga contractual lang, kung naay ipataod tawagon na sila. kung walay magpataod wala sad na sila, kay lahi mana na department pud ang tig activate sa internet from PLDT office to your home.

    sa ako-a the best jud ang PLDT, dili ko mawalaan ug connection unlike sa smartbro and my speed can reach 1.5mbps for the price of 999.

    Paita ana nila oink! Ambi nako nindot na sila og service.
    Pag- apply nako globe dali ra man hinuon to akoa.
    3 days ra na taod na tanan that was last year. Ambot lng ron kay labad na pud ang globelines kay lack sila manpower kuno.
    Taktak man gud sila mga contractor. I have no idea why they do that!
    Naguba ako line 48 years una nabalik! pait kayo na sila....! I'm planning to transfer PLDT preho d ay gihapon d nalng ko.
