Help: Unsa mayo nah DVD-RW (Lite-on, ASUS, LG or SAMSUNG)

Nako recent DVD-Writer nah LG brand dn with Lightscribe technology... i've been using it for almost a year nah dn lately d'li nah maka-burn and read ug CD-R but sah DVD kay awkey rah... ga-libog nah jd ko unsa da-ot ani... ako nah g-buhat tanang TROUBLESHOOT.. so i assume sah LENS jd tseguro neh...

so now am planning to buy a new one... dn am confused on what to buy
1.) LITE-ON 20x DVD-RW with lightscribe technology (IDE)
2.) LITE-ON 20x DVD-RW without lightscribe technology (IDE)
3.) ASUS 20x DVD-RW with lightscribe technology (SATA)

LITE ON para nako, mao sad na gi recomend sa among tech and proven pud sa ako 2 ka PCs for 2 years bun-og kaayo ni sige ug burn payter lang gihapon., when i was still working sa company before i was at the purchasing dept, basta mo buy ug optical drive ang mga I.T. people, LITE ON jud na naka specify sa P.O nila

I'd go for asus. I've read a few good reviews sa asus and no complaints about it. Sauna, ako CDR is lite-on and i was fully satisfied with it, Lite-on DVDR also has good reviews, but makadungog lang ko a few complaints from users.

I would recommend LITEON brand for optical drives. TWO THUMBS UP! Ive been using liteon for couple of years now w/o any problem.

In your case DID you tried update the firmware? SUWAYI if di mag work replace your optical drive.
