PLDT just keeps getting better and better!! (LOL)
I applied for their 990 325Kbps dsl + landline September 28, 2008. I asked the agent, "When will this be installed?"
Then she answered, "Mga Friday na sir kay lahi na man gud ang amo installer. One week allowance ila gi ask.".
I followed, "Dili pwede mainstall earlier?".
She said, "Dili sir kay mao man jud na ang wait time.".
Dismayed that it will take one week, I said, "Sige, siguradua lng nga Friday ha. Gatrabaho kog call center and wala ko time muabsent. Kung mao na ang date, mao jud na."
She replied' "Yes Sir." Then I conformed 2 more times...
Friday (One week after), I texted the agent, "Miss asa na man imong installer?"
She replied, "Sir ni-ingon ba ko nga Friday? And ako ingon tawagi inig Friday." TOINKS!!! Where the heck was your head when we were talking face to face?
Although I was already 97% pissed, I calmed myself and acted professionaly. Working in a call center as a tech support, I already know what to expect and what to do in things like these.
So I told her that I do not have a landline, so I cannot call your installer. It is also not my job to contact customer becuase the installer should be the one confirming the notes or the account. I asked her to tell the tech all the info I provided her. Then I verified agian, and again if the tech will defintely come today.
She said "YES".
4 days had come and no tech dropped by my house. I was almost on the verge of transferring to smart bro when a tech came, and installed my phone. He did not install the dsl becuase he said there is a different tech for that. What the heck, that is the same! I cant beleive how s***** they are. It is so easy to install a service! Again, I calmed down...
30 MINUTES AFTER THE INSTALLATION, I lost my dial tone!!!! WOW...
ANd to make things great, the "tech for dsl texted me that he needs to call the number so that he can install dsl. This time I freaked out! "SIR NAA NA DIHA SA INYO SYSTEM, TANAWA IF NAA BA KOY DIAL TONE! AND IF MAGINSTALL KA, THERE WOULD BE NO NEED TO CALL. NAA KAY ADDRESS DHA AND NAA NAY PHONE LINE, I-ACTIVATE AKO PHONE IN YOUR END, THEN ARI IINSTALL AND DSL!" IF GANAHAN KA, IHATOD ANG KITA HUMAN NIMO ACTIVATE SA PHONE, PARA AKO NA LNG MAG INHStALL ANA."
nakanga ang installer kay mas kamao pa ko niya. What the....
Hirit pa siya pang last, sir anha ko later mga 3:30 PM. Ana ra ko, "Okay"
Then namuti na pud ako mata hinuwat sa mga *bleeep*! wala juy nanunga!
MGA SIR/MAAM nga tga PLDT, is this what you call service?! This is way, way, way, way off!...
