I envision a very simple device.

Before you go to sleep, you wear it on your head. When you wake up the next day, you are no longer stupid.

Why then, do you ask, would you have to put it on your head every night before going to bed? Because, as you go about your daily living in this stupid world, you actually become more stupid yourself (incidentally, I call this phenomenon the "erosion of intelligence primarily due to heavy influence of pop culture and mass media, the primary source of human stupidity"), and thus by activating this device, you're assured of waking up less stupid and ready to take on the stupid world all over again, without getting worried of stupidity overdose.

Imagine that you are an engineer or a scientist, etc. What machine or device can you invent to make people's lives better?

One of the greatest challenge we face daily is the simple act of waking up early in bed. Alarm clocks sometimes don't work because they are too easy to turn off when they alarm hehe. And mao man ni di ba ang pinaka importante nga act? Aside from getting us to work or to school on time, waking up early can greatly influence our mood and therefore our productivity for the rest of the day. Waking up early tend to set our mood right, and when we start the day with a good mood, the rest of the day tend to unfold in a positive way, too.

So why not have a device that "forces" us to wake up so that we can take that important first step of getting our butts off the bed?

How about a bed that also acts as an "alarm clock"? It alarms five minutes before the set time, afterwards it slowly stands upright so that you are forced to stand up. Unya dili siya ma turn off. Hehehe..... A very simple invention, but I believe it can do us great good.
