    a bunch of liars!

    esp ang gen mgr...i talked to him twice and twice did he lie to me. pati ang admin nila na si jing.

    they told me na nasend na daw ang cancellation letter sa bank for the reversal and they wonder wala pa na reverse. i called the bank and was told they received nothing in the last four months! the bank gave me the fax nalang so i can get the cancellation letter and send it myself. binuang!!!

    hi guys i read the posts from beginning to end. lingaw kaayo ko when constantine and ass came into the pictureÂ* but at the same time i also felt the anger and frustration from the awful service most of you gotÂ*

    i'm a fitness instructor and FF already has a bad reputation among my colleagues who teach in manila. the club is known for a high turnover rate of staff which usually means poor management. and even when FF wasnt' in Cebu yet, i already heard of horror stories re their membership policies.

    these multinational gyms do have a system where they automatically debit your credit card. in the states, it's the same thing. i guess westerners are used to the system. what makes the FF experience bad is they don't tell you like it is ex. you need to give a cancellation letter 30 days before you terminate your membership so you won't get charged for another month.

    for those who had bad experiences with the trainers, that's sad. personal training can be effective for you only if the trainer is committed to his work and has a passion for fitness ( not moneyÂ* ) and st@rr, it was totally wrong of the trainer to say that you have zero body fat because a woman (i assume you're of the female gender) should have a minimum of 18% body fat otherwise her reproductive system would go awry. obviously the trainer was not knowledgeable enough and could endanger members by creating a program that's dangerous and unsafe. trainers like these who are just in it for the money are what make the fitness industry look bad. but all is not lost because there are good trainers out there although i don't know if they're in FFÂ* .

    to fitness diva. I don't mind if there are clauses like that in the contract, but what disappoints me about FF ipurposely did not explain the details of the contract and leave that clause up in the air, and then surprises you and tell you that you need to pay for the extra months fee. They got the nerve to do that. Yes in northern america it's practically like that however, they also inform their clients about it. unlike ff they leave you groping in the dark. If a certain company debits you for a service that you didnt use and u were not informed, they can refund you for that.

    I tried to cancel my membership via the credit card and they told me I should have cancel it from FF because they have an agreement with them.. I told them that's BS! so what I did is I closed my credit card nya wan a silay nahimo bwahaha! fs the contract!!

    Hi to all,

    Been following this thread from the start...

    Planned to enroll in FF but after reading the posts, I've decided not to continue because of the bad experiences people have had.
    Thanks to Ryan for starting this topic. I think FF needs to change its policies or train its staff to be more customer oriented especially with sensitive matters such as billing. In fairness to FF, I've heard a lot of good reviews about your gym's facilities. You should be proud to have the best facilities in Cebu and have the perfect location.

    My friendly advise is... please don't waste all of it by neglecting your customers. The worst thing you can do is give customers the perception that you are just after their money.

    You claim to "Offer everyone the opportunity to improve their health, fitness and have fun." but misleading customers by NOT informing them about important matters and just giving the reason that "You should have read the fine print" is asking for trouble. If you had been more straightforward about the billing issue.. customers would be satisfied and you could have avoided all of this from happening.

    If ever I will sign up for FF.. ill make sure to pay in cash... But for now KWR, you've lost a customer.

    well for those who are looking for a club without a hidden agenda, i know of a newly opened club at banilad called cebu holiday spa. i know the staff there and the managers and i'm pretty sure you won't get the FF experience. for one, you don't have to pay extra for trainers to assist you or give you a program. and they don't have hidden clauses in fine print. and your membership will include free use of the pool, boxing gym, wall climb, jogging track, fitness classes, cardio and strength equipment. guess i sound like a staff member there huhÂ* but no i'm not from cebu but i will be visiting sometime december or january.
