I think dili sad ingana ang level sa audience here in Cebu, or even here in the Philippines. ^^ Maybe, naa uban hentai (meaning weird people. I wonder why western people use that term for ero anime stuff. I mean, if one says "hey, i'm watching hentai", that actually means "hey, i'm watching a weird person". @__@ lol.
Well, the term's being used for ecchi persons kay.. well, in a way, they're weird! @__@. But let us not discuss further about the matter. /OT)
Medyo lahi ang culture ngadto Japan gud. Grabeh ang level sa mga cosplay fans. Uban cosplayers sad, grabeh na sad ang level. ^^;
So having a maid cafe is a bit safe. ^^ It'll be like a small cafe store and stuff. It depends ra sa atmosphere sa store.
Not that i'm suggesting to have one this year.. @__@

Leakage for the bishie pageant:

It don't have to be a cosplay. You can come as your own type of bishie. As long as you define what sort of bishie you are (i.e. shota-boyish charm; cold type; boy next-door type, etc etc) with matching spiel pa. It's a popularity contest, so we'll be finalizing this competition earlier than most.

So tell your bishounen friends to prepare for the auditions. Big big prizes are at stake!

...Actually in Manila girls DO get sexually harassed at times during the conventions.

I know a former cosplayer who was often stalked during the conventions that her mom eventually started to go with her when she was out and would threaten the damn stalker for her daughter.

So don't say 'Oh we don't have that yet here'

Because you'll never know. Even if you haven't heard any or you aren't so aware, you have to be careful and be prepared.
