HELP Having trouble with analytic and solid geometry

hi to anyone who can help me with this: im having a prob about my analytic and solid geometry. our teacher doesnt know how to teach us. i dont understand him and even if you ask him questions, hes unable to answer them correctly. so, about our workbook, can anyone please tell me the source of it? im done answering them but i wanna make sure my answers are right. im also tutoring my cousins so i really need the right answers...we dont want to teach anyone with the wrong answers, do we?...


also, can anyone recommend me a better or the best computer engineering school in cebu? im having a lot of problems concerning our teachers. ive never met one good teacher that im content with and fully understood.

Hey guy, I wish I could help with your analytical geometry but its all "greek" to me!, the only thing I can say is that it is difficult to understand first time round. Why dont you ask your teacher after class if you can speak with him(her) and tell him frankly that you were not able to understand it and ask him to go through it with you. The teacher will appreciate your direct approach and maybe on a one-to-one basis it will make it more comprehensible. Definitely dont worry about this, you are not first or the last to find geometry difficult. You dont say if this is your first semester or if you have been at SC awhile, if its is your first semester it takes time to get to know "How to Study". Making notes at the time of the class and then reviewing them soon afterwards, sometimes helps. If not, take your notes with you to the teacher...at least he will know you are trying.

id rather not mention any names here. i wouldn't want to disrespect anyone here. almost everyone in our class is complaining about our teacher's way of teaching. he doesnt really know how to teach since he copies lessons written in one book and explain them just like the book's explanation. we're like wasting our time attending the class when we can as well study the book on our own. the book is not enough though, we need more info from other source.

anyway, im taking engineering. although the semester's almost done, i still want to learn more about analytic and solid geom...esp analytic, because i dont like to just pass that subject but lack understanding on it. im like cheating myself in that case. our book's title is Analytic Geometry by fuller/tarwater. it's a good book but not very good for me. ive read it chapter by chapter. i still feel it lacks something. i only need our workbook's source or anything related to it 'cause i don't understand much of the probs esp the application parts although i have answered them; i want to compare them to the right ones...thats all.

but about your problem, try to use the net nlng..
anyway, they provide some exercises with answers, so you could use it as a reference.. ^_____^
