i played around with the unit today.
40D to 50D is a major update. worthy of the upgrade
20D to 30D to 40D was a minor update in my opinion.
state of the art features. af microadjust from the 1d series wow!
screen does look better (my 1st impression) but i havent done any comparison regarding color and image accuracy on its LCD so that still to be determined.
a more logical and usable sRAW is most welcome featuring 7.1mp and 3.8mp rather than the useless 2.5mp on the 40D.
i can't complain about the grip and battery being the same as the 20D,30D,and 40D meaning i dont have to buy new sets.
new support for faster UMDA cards is most welcome.
