modular psu's are nice but here's my take on them...those modular plugs add another layer of electrical resistance(hence power loss) and i'm afraid that the pins in the connectors could loosen or corrode(sa sigi ug tang2x/taud) resulting in psu system failure...bahala ug medyo lisud & samok i'll rather stick with the continuous wires psu...my OCZ 700W GameXstream had never failed me but my Tagan(the makers of HEC) Easycon 580W modular psu gave up after 8months of use...your experience may be different than mine...
