    I think Matthew Libatique's accomplishment and vision is attributed to the fact that he went to a film school. What do you think?

    I hope you saw his earlier and lower budget works Pi and Requiem for a Dream (aka Delusion Over Addiction) in collaboration with his film school classmate Darren Aronofsky.
    Hopefully it wasn't an overpriced film school. By the way, naiviv are you Roy?

    Yes but are those topics the ones that you truly care about? Its not wise to go into any endeavor with the sole intention of winning prizes in festivals.

    Im a former USC CAFA student but I dropped out a few years back coz, honestly, I don't think a have the talent.

    Im hoping to try my hands in filmmaking and focus on women and lesbian films.

    there are a lot of group who support those LGBT things, but do what you wish to do, basta just think of the story...prizes later...
