How to load subtitle file on media player

use vobsub or the xp codec pack sir. it will automatically load the subtitles from where you opened the movie.

which player? Im using Wm classic dili man niya i auto load, cccp akong gamit.

vobsub or the xp codec pack works as a plug-in for WMP. i havent heard of CCCP sir, but try another kind of player. probably the newer WMP.

also, a possible reason why dili mo-load ang imong subtitles is that the subtitles are not named after the file name of the movie. for example, i have Cloverfield.avi as my movie. dapat ang filename sa subtitle sa kana nga movie kay Cloverfield.xxx pud. usually ang extension sa subtitles is .srt. so possibly Cloverfield.srt dapat ang filename sa akong subtitle.

Go into Media Player Classic, go to View --> Options.

Look for Playback and click the + next to it. Then go into Output. In the list to the right under Directshow Video, select Haali's Video Renderer.

Then click on OK. Restart the player. And load the subtitles through File --> Load Subtitle.

There's likely a way to force VSFilter to load the subs itself without changing renderer, but It don't work with external subtitles much and wouldn't have a clue how to.

nope. pero im sure vobsub and xp codec pack works most of the time, unsa pa kaha sa vista.

actually, all kinds of codec packs(even k-lite) works well on subtitles. they automatically load the subtitles. dunno with those codec packs with vista.

just follow the subtitle filename trick. it's a default on all subtitle plug-ins

^ k-lite is using vobsub, if you want the srt file or any subtitle to load with the movie during startup, just rename the file and name it the same as the movie (leave the file extension) alone.

bro, grayed out man ang Haali's Video Renderer sa akoa?

I am using the divx player from the divx bundle, and it loads the subtitle if they are .srt files right away.
