i consider both.
nindut mn tingai ang both but mas nindut kuhaun nimo ang both..experience raman gud
ang mgpanindut sa imu career sa panrabaho..
more knowledge-->more experience-->more oppurtunities-->more money
Thanks guys for all your comments! it really enlightened me heheheeee btw i am an ece student in usjr. sakto gyud mo, it really just depend sa paningkamot sa tao. GOD BLESS TO ALL OF YOU.
Im an ECE here.
Lets just say that an ECE can always catch up with Comp E in terms of both hardware and software.
Comp E can never catch up with out knowhows in communication and power electronics.
But never underestimate Comp E coz they are always ahead in terms of DIGITAL ELECTRONICS
ECE coz i work in Telco in any position ma engr or it. compe focus only in sofware
the best jud ang ece for those who can survive.
pero di man pud ma look down ang comp e.
it really depends on how people bring their courses into application
to real life. ^___^
different fields, most probably dili nimo sila ma compare. although, naa pud silay things in common. ECE, lets say communications and electronics ang ila focus, ibutang ta na naa silay gamay programming. CompE, more on structures and operations of computers, on both hardware and software, then, of course, naa jud background in electronics. ALL OTHER SKILLS and/or KNOWLEDGE would be learned in the fielad.
although, sa ako pag sabot, computer engineering takes up the broad topics covered in electrical/electronic engineering and computer science. mostly, sila tig design ug hardware-software communication, firmware development, etc. electronics and communications engineering, most probably in telephony, electronics, power, etc. most probably, mga communications engineer sa mga tv stations.
cheers!
ComP-E 4-ever brad...ky mga gahe ang mga instructor diri esp. kung mu skul ug USC-TC...
