Pretentious is sounding like you know your stuff but not having the quality of output commensurate to your talk.

oooohh that sounds really wicked... whoever you/he/she may be, I don't give a damn... the thing is, if you wan't to help and contribute to the cause, work with everyone... saying things while cowering under the shadow of being anonymous won't gain you any respect nor help the movement...

then again, your post doesn't in any way address my questions mr. v...

mr. v... has been working for the cause (whatever that is) and with everyone long before you were born, that is if I got your mr. v... correctly. That is on record.

But you cannot agitate me from not telling you who said all these in a series of emails. I can give you certain clues, though, to play around: (1) the person said he just won the top award of one of the most prestigious film festivals in Europe; (2) this person's movie is now currently showing in one of the many theaters here. This is all.

In the meantime, read media guru Marshall McLluhan's "The Message is the Massage" and learn the distinction between media and source.

I recognize you as god of this Forum. But if you feel bad of the fact that I am talking back to you, you can remove me anytime you want. Or I can leave your site anytime I want. Whichever is more convenient.

    I stand corrected if I got the wrong mr. v . . .

Actually, I also know of a mr. v... who happens to be very close to me. This mr. v... who I know is also into films since 1970s; he has been annotated by Mowelfund's Nick Deocampo in a small book titled "The Lost Cinema of the Cebuanos" as "leading the 70s pack." This is why I posted this particular "mr. v. . . has already been working for the cause (whatever this may be) long before others were born."

na, gi sapot na...I was misunderstood, lemme clarify...

"You don;t know who you're dealing with"

    means...

anyone could have said it, somehow na misrepresent ang cebuano films cause many are claiming its title.
so whoever said it could have been on the wrong page, or musguided, or who might have had an experience on the certain things.

like pinoizeke said, don;t give attention to any of those stuff, show, don't tell.

but then again, wa man kay damn ihatag, keep your damn, cause di sad ko manghatag ug damn. I'll just go say directly....
"ooohhh...wicked!!! your mother wears combat boots!"

I would love to answer you question...pero I'm pretentious man...I'll just cower and hide....and wa koy damn ka give out sad...
