If you have a bad video card it could cause a number of unpredictable symptoms, Including screen flicker

i'd say artifacts or garbled characters but i've never seen a flicker on monitors with bad video cards.

garbled display can be cause by bad videocard... not display flicker...

Try to set 60 hertz. if still persist, check your AVR if its overloaded. (printer, dsl modem, etc.)

I recommend more than AVR 500 watts.. like 1000 watts. By the way, how many watts of your PSU?

unsa imo pasabot sa flicker bro kanang naay lines magdagandagan or kanang mukurog kadali then mupilti then mutarong dayon ang display? kung magdagandagan na horizontal lines then do a degauss and change the refresh rate pero kung kanang mukurog then mutarong dayon after a second or two then normal ra na sa montor. iya lang na gi-align ang magnetic field sa CRT. kung bothered ka ani try a sony trinitron monitor, viewsonic, dell, HP and the likes. kani na mga monitor mas maayo ni sila og magnetic coil that you won't notice pagperform niya sa self adjustment.

okies, thanks for your replies... did the changing of refresh rate, mao rman japon.... ani man gud ang situation... i have two computers running... b4, ok jud ang ilang mga display.... pero three months ago, ang isa ka monitor kay mag kurog na... the nearest i could compare this is kanang display sa akong tv kung naka on ang akong dvd player, nga kung i on ang dvd player, mo kurog, kung patyon, mo ok ang display sa TV.

now going back to my case, both CPU's have separate AVR's pero ang ilang monitors originally kay naka direct connect sa extension wire. so nag try ko isolate sa problem, swapped both monitors, pero ang na balhin nga monitor nga OK ang mo kurog man nuon, and ang nag kurog kay OK man ang display. Even tried with another monitor jud sa akong silingan, pero mura man ug naay agta ato nga lugar oi, nga mo kurog man jud cya regardless sa unsa nga monitor gamiton....

Cge, akong i try ug degauss, thanks guys!!!
