@ radio star,,so your are part of lfs group,,you didnt even answer some of my question..you've seems to avoid the obvious answer to the question i ask sir.,,you ben to medical mission?why not in cebu? some mountain barangays in cebu needs your help.why in bohol, negros, leyte? part those place are rebel infested area..?does is needs to be 3months for a medical mission to complete.?
read my post sir... mingla and talisay ra ako naapilan... na.a pud to sa mga mountainous regions sir... pero la ko ka apil because of my hectic schedule...

it really depends sir kung when ka nahan mo human sa medical mission. if tan.aw nimo na daghan paka ma help then good, then you can serve as long as you want to.

the cause you mention only exist to you and your group coz ur are blind by those cause, and you make other youth blind also..how can you justify that your CAUSE can change the life of the poor when your cause makes them even poorer,,you only conduct medical mission to farmers..what about they others?
can you justify your concern sir? hoe can you say that we "only" conduct "medical mission" to the farmers that you are not involved with the cause?

military don't make false statement.they base there statement on evidence,,maybe its your group that make false accusation to the military.remember a certain marvin who died in an encounter with the rebels in bohol?how come they are there? wrong place at the wrong time..maybee..i beg to disagree,i for once a student and military did not tag me as a rebel? why because i do things in the normal way not in a rebel way,,and not in an lfs way..
oh really? the military does not make any false accusations? i think you are blinded by the propaganda of the military sir. there are a lot of ways you can help not only the lfs way. but as a member if you believe the principles that the LFS is carrying you can make a change by your own ways. if im not in the mountains, im in the slums here in cebu.

often people label activists directly as a communist or NPA member.

Somebody posted here that this is already the 21st century and armed struggle no longer fit this time...so cut it off. Sige pa mog pailad ni JOMA nga tua sa Netherlands nagpahayahay. Bright man kaha ang mga miyembro sa inyo na group so you better use it in better ways other than what you are doing right now.

Helping the poor pa kunohay..ayaw kog ilara kay I have seen it in my own eyes and heard it in my own ears when I was in the mountains of Ayungon and Mabinay. What we were doing there was the a legit NGO related activity in a rebel infested area. Unfortunately, this educated egoistic-brainwashed students from the lowlands were also the people who brainwashed the non-educated poor farmers/people in the uplands. How do you call that fair? Our government thru NGOs were trying hard out of the limited budget to help the poor constituents but all the effort could sometimes go to waste because this good students and graduates from big universities are there to twist their minds. Call that service to the poor? Tell it to the marines.

Once again been there, seen it, heard it. So CEGP, LFS, ANAKBAYAN....SHUT-UP! you are more of a liability than of a help.
mind you sir, not every activist is a communist. please do not generalize activists. may i ask from what NGO do you came from?

aw c'mon. as if i don't know what is meant there.

i know that Teddy Casino was a former president of CEGP, a clout and influence he still holds there. He now heads the BayanMuna Partylist together w/ Satur Ocampo. get the drift?

it is loud and clear that CEGP has intertwined links w/ Bayan Muna. Why do CEGP and Bayan Muna leaders vehemently deny a connection to the CPP? Because the CPP has an NPA, that's why. No law can ever make armed struggle legal.
then why all the sarcasm sir? the topic is about rachel palang not teddy casino.

    let me re-post this:

"I applaud her for having character and believing in her principles but that doesn't necessarily make reasons or methods right. Again, for me, she is just another statistic. Unfortunately, I still cannot agree with her means of attaining her goals and principles despite all the prose and melodramatics."---Frank Malilong, Sun.Star

    I couldn't agree more...
frank malilong is a supreme rightist on my point of view, read his previous write ups; in there you will find your answer.

now she was not a fighting rebel bearing arms you say? then we should have been hearing news about nurses hit in crossfires in their medical missions or immersions in far flung barangays and provinces.
now tell me sir kinsa imo nailhan na na mga nurses mo buhat og medical mission on a far flung barangays and provinces then known siya infested siyag NPA? of course hearing the abbrevation NPA ma hadlok jud sila dayon, but with a strong conviction to serve the people, it really doesnt matter kung infested ang area og NPA.

let me recall one of my experiences katong nag BMI mi nad2 sa mingla, na.ay civilian na daghan kaayo og pangutana unsa amo gibuhat namo nad2, ngano nanudlo mi og art art and etc... blah blah, pero sarcastic akong tubag pirme, then as i've noticed daghan choi choi with the same tupi na nag tutok nako, ako gi observahan iyang kamot, then ako nakit-an ang iyang PMA ring. then mura napungot manto kay ako raman gi tubag tanan niya pangutan.a straight to the point diretso, ni kalit raman og sulti "activista ka bai, klaro kaayo bantay bantay lang"

unsa kahay pasabot ana sir? bantay bantay kay daghan og NPA sa lugar? or ila ko kidnappon kung dile ko mo hunong sa akong gibuhat? now tell me sir, kung ila ko gi kidnap diretso then gipatay gi hulgan dayon og armalite, ingon dayons media na na.ay estudyante na NPA dire sa mingla. unsay reaction ningyo? i was just teaching basic art classes to the poor kay kibaw ko daghan potential artists sa ka pubrihan. then ila dayon ko gi threat? is that the protectors of our nation should act?

Communists killed more people in the history than Hitler and Genghis Khan combined.

I dont pity people like palang, in fact, she deserved to die.

I'd rather live under the so-called evils of military rule than these red-facists hypocite fanatics.
then you should ko to myanmmar sir, where innocent monks are being killed by the military junta

I am just wondering why the haste of Palang's family to cremate her. Kitang mga Kristiyano labi na gyud mga katoliko mo likay kita sa cremation as much as possible labi na gyud nga ang uyo-an ni Palang usa ka Catholic Bishop. Like Jesus Christ we prefer to bury our dead with their body intact.

Pero ako nag duda nga Palang's family anticipated a probe on her death so better burn her to destroy evidence that may offer authorities the true reason of her death. Kato kay abu na unsa-on pa man nila pag probar nag pas-an o nakapabuto si Palang ug armas?

Maayo man unta to nga intact iyang cadaver nga gilubong kay aron inig exhume unya ma testingan gyud kung dunay powder burns. But looks like the rush to cremate her was done on purpose.
not even her sister can describe her face, mura gi pointblank og pusil, im no gun fanatic, pero kung layo ka, then maigo imong nawong maguba as in guba jud? please verify sa mga gun fanatics dire na forum.

    Rachel ‘carried a rifle’

"IF two witnesses are to be believed, Rachelle Mae Palang identified herself as Hannah to a family in a mountain village of Zamboanguita town, Negros Oriental.

Jesus Cañete, Commission on Human Rights (CHR) investigator in Dumaguete City, told Sun.Star Cebu yesterday that they were able to get two witnesses who claimed that Palang had an Armalite rifle in her backpack.

She also reportedly gave them a lecture on the need for reforms.

The witnesses claimed that Palang was with about 24 persons armed with Armalite and M203 launchers when they first saw her on Sunday. She and the other armed persons reportedly slept in their house until Monday morning in Sitio Taguik, Barangay Nasig-id, Zamboanguita.

The witnesses also claimed there was no medical mission there because they were the only inhabitants of that area.

They said the only medicines Palang gave them were two paracetamol tablets because one of them complained of a headache."

Talaga. Kayo talaga, gumagawa pa kayo ng palusot para masisi ang militar. Para bumango ang NPA. hehehe. Talagang persistent sa pag deny.

I'm sorry, but one thing that you don't know,is the reasons that you have delivered is the one that give people clue who you are and what you are.

Point blank? hehehe funny reason.

It seems that this is a hot ISSUE. Kay nag tawag ko sa mga paryente ko diha sa nothern cebu and ask them if they know about a Nursing board exam passer who killed in an encounter with Soldiers. You know what they told me? They said that they have already warned their son and daughter not to join with activist organization. But still they are worried because this groups are persistent. But atlis they have warned.

Well said...I commended you. And I also suggesting to put this in a Activist bulletin board (or something like this). This will surely help our student in opening their mind and it will serves as a guiding message. at bottom, just add "If you(LFS/CEGP) are really fighting for our freedom, so you have to keep this message posted and we have a freedom of expression. So do you?"

Why? So that you can harass again the NGO the I have worked just like what your group (NPA and its arms) did to many NGO's in the area.

Just like how you harassed foreign and local businessmen and developers who can offer more help to the mountain towns of Negros than you do?

Shut-up @radiostar...however you dress a pig, it is still a pig. The only thing good in a pig is when it is roasted or cooked. So the Philippines will be a better place NPA and their band of brothers are roasted by the real protectors of the country...AFP.

@radiostar...I still hope that you will live to middle age and realize that you have been fooled by the very organization you are fighting now. It is not easy to be a youth, full of ideology and passion. That is where this leftist group have got you...your youth is your weakness.
