anyway, can I ask where to buy a complete set of the original series? from episode 1-80 of the Macross SDF?

its only 1-36 for the original SDF:Macross. Lots of DVDs for sale at ebay. Locally havent spotted any.

2) The Masters
3) The New Generation

You are talking about Robotech. Not Macross. Thats a sci fci franchise created from three different anime television series namely Macross, Southern Cross, and Genesis Climber Mospeada. Its produced by Harmony Gold for the US audience. The story has been altered and edited aswell since those 3 anime have no continuity and are separate series.

Original Jap version: SDF:Macross>Macross Plus>Macross 7>Macross Zero>Macross Frontier

Robotech: SDF:Macross>Southern Cross>Mospeada>Robotech Shadow Chronicles
