tinood na bro. naa dakop nga ILLEGAL MODIFICATION WITHOUT APPROVAL FROM DTI. but pag adto sa DTI, ang DTI mismo wala silay body nga mag certify og accessories kung safe or unsafe bani. and tinood na, naa sila memo nga ang LTO nag lahos lahos lang without approval from DTI and BSP.

and come to think about it, DTI approved the permit for those store to sell aftermarket parts.

this is a very obvious plot jud sa LTO for money-making mga bro....imagine, gi-bypass diay nila ang DTI.....heheheheh

guys, bear in mind nga LTO ra pwede manakop about aning AO.
then, ihapak na sa ilang nawng.

naa sila gi TOP then gisuwatan og MODIFICATION WITHOUT PERMISSION FROM DTI. then unsaon man nimu pagkuhag permission nga ang DTI has no body to do the certification whether safe or unsafe.

you can tell the LTO personnel that you went to DTI to have your mods certified but dli sila ka certify stating nga ang LTO nagpasagad rag lahos lahos without permission from DTI and BPS.

FAIRINGS: A Motorcycle fairing is a shell placed over the frame of some motorcycles, especially the racing motorcycles and sports bikes, with the primary purpose to reduce the air drag. A motorcycle windshield may be an integral part of the fairing. (wikipedia)

now, if u modify the fairings of ur bike, how will u justify that the redesigning improves safety in terms of air drag? Did it follow the bike's warranty?

yes lage, u might not intend to modify the fairings for racing purposes but for "racing looks" only, I have no arguments about that. But have u considered the warranties involved? Have u considered the safety issues?

MAG WHEELS: Firstly, using "mag" wheels lowers the unsprung weight of a vehicle (where every gram counts) thus improving suspension behaviour and wear as well as improving economy ( reduced unsprung weight is far more valuable than reduced body weight)
Secondly, as a rule, factory mags generally introduce tyres of a lower and wider profile improving handling and braking.
    DRAW BACKS
    cost
    replacement tyre cost
due to lower profile wheels are more easilly damaged
rims are more likely to be damaged in gutter scrape
by introducing wider lower tyres handling and braking in wet conditions are compromised

After market rims could void the car warranty if you buy the wrong specs and/or dimensions. That could be cataloged as an unauthorized or unapproved modification that can void warranties and in some states are consider illegal.

Aftermarket wheels, magnesium in particular, are more brittle and susceptible to damage.

    (source: yahoo answers)

again, ur argument that there is nothing wrong or unsafe about using magwheels is a fallacy.

LARGER THAN STOCK DISC BRAKE: i will give u one example:

"2nd place finisher Mark Anthony Intiongco riding bike #113 was disqualified due to illegal front disk brake. The said bike was using a larger than stock front disk brake. The Class regulations (7.5.1.4.24) state that front disc brake must be original. Pad material and brake lines may be changed to aftermarket parts."

see? even in racing says its illegal.

    i will add this one:

    CARBURETOR: an example:

"1st place finisher Edward “Bong” Tulawie riding bike #39 was disqualified due to an illegal modification to the stock carburator. The modification was the removal of the choke flap and shaft."
bro giddy. sweto lagi ka kaayo sa?

let me tell you my story.

I bought my bike as stock. its a suzuki shogun R. standard height, and standard parts. I had been riding motorcycles since highschool. But to my dismay on my new bike, thrice na ko na simplang sa karsada. Until such time I met some motorcycle enthusiasts in our place. my stock rims was always experiencing flat tires kay naka interior raman ko. due to standard height, dali ra ko mapalid kung naay AIR DRAG. (kanang naay kusug nga trak muagi sa tungod ha, dli nang drag race. lolz) nya tungod sa standard height, dli ma enjoy sa ako wife kung iya hulaman ako bike. nya habal habal look kau akong bike. as what they say, a motorcycle is a poor man's company. don't take the word "poor" literally nga wla jud kwrta ha. kay magka kwarta ang poor kung kugihan lng jud.

anyways, i changed my bike looks para sad tawn presentable ug dli masawayan sa akong mga kaila if mo attend ko ug events. so i changed my rims to mag wheels. naka tubeless na. so wla jud ko kasulay ug flat eversince, pwera buyag lng. unya ako gi lowered, dli na ko kuyawan kung akoang asawa mugamit, dli na mahayang kay mobo naman. i scraped my seat to a thinner one para comfy linkuran. unya ako giilisan ug hayag2x ako suga para sad tawn dli maka abusar ang mga cagers inig sugat. meaning kung maka high cla, imo hatagan ug courtesy beam (kasabot ka ana bay courtesy beam bay?), kung ako i high beam ako light, tendency ila i low beam ila light. so kung stock ra to ako light, respetaran kaha to? ug sa busina, kanang cute na peeepeeep. respetaran kaha na sa cagers ug taxi drivers bay? or kaha ana mga multicab drivers ug jeepney drivers. dli kaha ka sumay sumayon inig bosina. akong giilisan ug louder pero dli starling nga bosina bay.

its the riding experience that teaches us what to change on our bikes bay. di man gud mi maka afford ug car bay susama nmo. pobre ra man gud mi.

ang kana pag ride sa motor bay, pibilehyo man na sa tagsa tagsa ka tawo. ang pa implimentar ana, tarungon lng jud. kung daghan badlungon, aw kana maoy i focus. dli nang pataka. kung maka disgrasya ang txting while driving, i ban diay ang celfon? pagka toy toy sad tawn kung ing ana. mao nay giingun justifying the means to an end bay. kung ang computers maka produce radiation, aw i ban diay ang computers?

thats the time proper and INTELLIGENT REGULATIONS will be implemented. a law should not cause unrest. kabantay ko bay, kaming mga motorista mao may experimentuhan sa mga bunga sa panghuna huna nga magbaw sa LTO. just like what happened to manila, imagine plate numbers on our HELMETS! thats absurd and idiotic in such a way.

kanang mag kiat kiat sa dalan nga nice ug motor, mao nay dakpon. like speed limits, bike lanes. mao nay angay implement. dli na ang pag ban. wholistic kau ang idea bay pero wa matarong pagtuki ang angay tukion.

just my 2 cents bay giddy.

and kana imo giingun nga illegal bisan sa racing. well mao nay technical foul sa racing events. naa man clay INTELLIGENT STANDARDS. so the racers will just follow. naay nakabutang: klase sa carbs, klase sa manifold, klase sa rims, ug ambot naa ba na diameter sa brakes.
let me reiterate to you again bro. ayaw lagi nang generalization, kay daghan na buslot/flows.
