Sakto cla different opinion pero pareho naay point.

Both naay specific type of study or specialty as an engineer but ECE is more on ELECTRONICS and COMMUNICATION as you know they usually work on radios/tvs as engineer.

Compe mostly they can be flexible, they can be on programming side or hardware side. If you want to take computer technician and really love hardware/networking better go for CompE.

CompE for programming, CISCO, and JAVA

ECE knows hardware troubleshooting CompE knows both hardwware and software BUT ang basic electronic troubleshooting wala kaayo na apply sa CompE.

CompE for programming, CISCO, and JAVA

If you are looking for versatility/flexibility, go for ECE. I have been in the ICT industry for 3 years now. I am an ECE, and am working in an ICT solutions provider company. We are looking mostly for ECE's. why? Because ECE can do the Job from networking, telephone systems, power and cable infrastructure. That means, a company's total communications infrastructure. Yes, CompE can do the Cisco, but can you do power? can you do cable infrastructure? can you do telephone systems? and excuse me, Cisco isn't the only name in Networking.

i think ece's are more versatile engineers compared to compe..

ECE is the more broader compe.. i will try to compare the two profession ha on what industry is suitable for the both line of prof..

ECE: electronic; telecommuniations ;software;network
COMPE: software;network;hardware

pero for me.. dili dapat e compare ky d na pareha na course and pareho ra ta engineers... hehehhe..

basta dili lang nursing....! go ENGINEERS!
