I guess we are all updated about the NBA but here's one for the it's women's division, the WNBA.
Here's a good start, Candace Parker can become it's first ever MVP and ROY winner in the same season. Parker, sister of Toronto Raptors' guard/forward Anthony Parker, is currently 4th in scoring, 1st in rebounding, and 2nd in blocked shots in the WNBA so far. Parker has inarguably dominated almost every statistical category, something not all rookies have done and capable of, even in the NBA history.
Among those gunning for the MVP plum aside from Parker are San Antonio's Sophie Young and Becky Hammon, Seattle's Sue Bird, Connecticut's Lindsay Whalen, and Sacramento's Diana Taurasi.
WNBA Playoffs:
San Antonio Silver Stars leads Sacramento Monarchs 1-0
New York Liberty leads Connecticut Sun 1-0
Los Angeles Sparks and Seattle Storm are tied at 0-0
Detroit Shock and Indiana Fever are tied at 0-0
