UG - Scotchlok IDC Tap Connectors are used to tap into 22-26 AWG communication wire. The Scotchlok UG connector can also be used as a butt connector for 19-26 AWG. Maximum wire insulation O.D. of .066 inches (1.67 mm). Flame retardant connector for indoor use. The connector is filled with a sealant to provide moisture resistance. Scotchlok UG connectors are color coded green.

Scotchlok UY connectors are approximately half the size of Scotchlok UR connectors to keep the splicing bundle to a minimum. The Scotchlok UY IDC butt connector splices two 22-26 AWG solid copper communication conductors. Maximum wire insulation O.D. of .060 inches (1.52 mm). The wires joined can be different wire gauges. Color coded yellow.
