    its cheap..

emaxx are good too, got a friend who use emaxx on his cafe.. but sometimes, brand matters...

anyway, i got an XFX 7050 board for myself... great OCing board.

dont think of playing games with built in video. get a video card

is that xfx of yours can boot up 45nm E7200 on factory bios? i mean, have you tried? because i am also interested to get that but im afraid it might fail.

    @ajol

really? can you share your experience

AFIAK, intel boards have a reputation as stable solid boards..

well, if you ask me..if you're not into overclocking, any mobo will do as long as it will satisfy your desired specifications (pci-e, sata, lan, etc)... I think even ECS, Asrock brands have good budget mobos (if you don't push 'em unto their limits - overclocking)

    My suggestion:

If ur using INTEL processor, go for INTEL motherboards. Nothing compares to its compatibility if its all intel.

    im getting the Intel Core 2 Duo E7200 2.53 Ghz, 3MB, 1066Mhz P5,600.00
budget for the motherboard is 3,000 or below.

im thinking EMAXX nf7050 avl P2,300.00
    Products
it has integrated geforce 7050 which i think is quite good. it's low priced too.

but what about this intel blkdg31pr at P2,750.00
    PC BODEGA: Intel Desktop BLKDG31PR,1333Mhz,AVL
pero intel gma 3100 iya integrated graphics mura bati siguro.

which one is the better board? or if you could suggest another board which is similarly priced pls. do suggest. thanks.

ditch your budget a little bit and get the gigabyte g31 based board, highly recommended & superb overclocking functions. combining it with good aftermarket hsf, you could hit above 3ghz on it.

don't get that g31 based of intel brand board for it has problem booting up that new 45nm processor you are planning to(unless if your lucky to get the newer revision release, if it has really, to have the newer bios). about emaxx, i dont find any review about it though it might be risky too getting the same issue with that intel for its 7050 based. if you want a nvidia based chipset, better get the ecs 7100 model, good reviews. also the ecs g31 based motherboard, good reviews too(can boot up e7200 but still needs bios update to update its microcode).

but if you want oc functions, the gigabyte g31 based will kick ass those specific models based of ecs(though the two ecs models have oc functions but crippled), trust me, im using it now.^^

thats all i can share in accordance with your budget(of which i assume 3k below).

cool! i supposed getting that board too. i like that brand, specially its higly rep brand in the us of a. superb overclocker too.

i was really lured when i saw it on the store, very nice board indeed. quite pricey though compared to other brands but we know why. only i was afraid it will give me problem also standing up the e7200 thats why i choosed the bytey g31 instead. if only i find reviews from that xfx booting up e7200 on stock bios...

how much clock you squeezed that e2160? i believe thats an oc hungry proc.
