@cebualog.. what commission are you talking about? there is an entrance fee when you start to invest in MF and that's it. If you withdraw your investment within 2 years, there are penalty fees. But after a while there are no hidden charges.
No problem with investing directly in stocks.. pero you will need bigger investments plus you need to have good knowledge about the market. Same ra man ang MF ug sa direct investing sa stocks.. you are still in control of your money unlike sa banks. The difference lang is you have an expert fund manager sa MF that chooses where to invest your money and you get to invest at a minimum of Php. 1000 rather than directly buying shares which require a lot of money.
