Striking baya kaayo ning pictura kay mismo ang mga taga National Geographic Society giapil man nig nominate nila as Photo of the year, later on, ang ni-picture aning helicopter training shot nipagawas sa iya original photographs na walay shark ug duda siya na kanang shark gi-butang ra na gamit ang computer editing. hehehehe...nikalat sa mga emails niadtong 2001 ug pati taga National Geographic nailad aning pictura hehehehe!!!

the photo claimed to be NG photo of the year but in fact, the claim is a hoax. The photos came from Lance Cheung who photographed the chopper and Charles Maxwell, an NG photographer, who shot the shark. The photo was spliced, obviously. National Geographic denies the fact that the photo came from their office.
it's listed as one of the best email hoaxes.
