Default Getting rid of MILF/MNLF once and for all

I am 32 years old now. My father was fighting for the government when I was a kid. Until now the government is still fighting with the Moro rebels...maybe for different reason, but it is still the same fight.

In military strategy "Punish your enemy hard and crush them completely, then you talk peace". True, you cannot discuss peace when you and your enemy are equal. MILF/MNLF is the enemy of the government in any given rational reason. My STAND is for the government to completely crush this terror mongers 99.99% before they can become equals in firepower and then we talk peace. What do you say?

"A country with weak armed forces can never have peace"

was it not that the funds already prepared by the ramos administration for the Armed Forces Modernization was used by the estrada administration to pay for war?

Personally, I believe the MNLF/MILF has really no moral nor objective stand in their claim.

I say, the government should eradicate them once and for all and go against them really hard.

They always invoke Islam but the way they are doing things, regardless of religion is inhumane. They should be stopped, they are just plain bandits. I can't even believe why the government is talking with these kind of people.

Youre right! our govt is not firm with its stand against these people.Pag naay mamatay or lusubon nga civilians, masuko si Presidente then declare all out war.Pag medyo wla na pag ayo tagda sa media, peace negotiation na sad.Ang AFP gihimo lang kataw anan sa mga MILF,MNLF og ABU Sayaf.

I'm not sure what you mean but if you are afraid for the loss of life that is understandable. But that is the reason why there are great leaders and there are so-so leaders. Great leaders aren't afraid to do what it takes to achieve the greater purpose. Lesson from history, WWII claims millions of Allied casualties in order to stop the Axis. The great leaders of Allied countries did not waste those millions because we achieved the peace that we experience now. If those leader had think like you Angelicax, then God only knows where we are right now.

So, if five million lives of Filipinos will be lost just to achieve that elusive peace in Mindanao, then so be it. I wouldn't care if it will be my relative or me who will die in the process as long as my children will live in peace for hundreds of years from now. That is how our president should think. That is the only quality I like with Estrada, the go get those bastards attitude, and nothing more. I didn't vote for him anyway.

    Kasabot ko sa imo bro.
    Ako papa niagi pud ana.
Naassign pud cya sa Mindanao while he is still in service.
In fact ulitaw pa cya ato nga time, karon nga nagtrabaho nalang ko
    naa japon ang gubat.
Cla tanan igsoun sa ako papa are with the military.

Naa pa to cya gi mention nga kung ang mga rebelde daw makadakop sa army kay patyon nila.
Pero kung army makadakop sa rebelde kay priso lang nya amnesty dayon.

And for those who say nga daghan ang maamong.
Tan.awa ang nahitabo sa Hiroshima ug Nagasaki, kung wla bay naamong.
The Iraq war tan.awa kung wlay civilian nga ndamay.
Some wars where rebels use civilians as human shields.

if there's no MILF/MNLF/Abu Sayaff/NPA, there will be no war. if there is no war the AFP will have no budget therefore the corrupt generals will have no business. no business=no money

and what our commander-in-chief is doing? nothing. kay under the bunal sya sa mga generals. look at the people sorrounding her, her appointees. theyre mostly unqualified retired generals.
