I can't believe my luck today. While at Powerbooks, looking for Jose Dalisay's "Killing Time in a Warm Place", I chanced upon this...
FIRST MAN: The Life of Neil A. Armstrong
...something I've wanted to buy since 2006. And it was on the SALE tray! From PHP 800.00, the price was just PHP 250.00. Deeleecious.
And another lucky stroke was, their initial search for Dalisay's "Killing Time in a Warm Place" proved futile--hurot na daw ang copies...but as I was roaming around the store, a guy came up running to me and said "Sir, we found the LAST copy in our stockroom" and gave me the book.
Great day at the bookstore for me!
Incidentally, I also have and read...
