first and foremost, where would I post this topic in [Computer Hardware] or in [Software and Games]? well that's not the main point.. n_n,

(?) Anyone of you here using Crossfire or SLI setup?

    (?) What's your Specs?

(?) What games are you playing?

(?) What are the different games that optimize well in Crossfire and in SLI?

Am I having a hardware related problems or it's just that the game isn't optimized for Crossfire setup?

    Try using the 1.2.1 patch.
Used to have that problem on my ATI 4850.
    Single card only.

I just upgrade the drivers for the VC and patch for crysis and it goes well.

a patch will do sir. also, check google for ati radeon card optimizations for crysis. they surely do alot of work.

actually, i dont even own a Crossfire or a SLI ready unit. pero here in my computer shop(not a iCafe godddamnit), naa miy mga demo sa among mga clients. the specs are:

    -q660(not overclocked)
    -(2)hd 3870x2(not overclocked)
-a whopping 8gb of memory size from kingston(brand, not location).
-and using the newest CCC from ati radeon.

the games i play with for the demo are:

Crysis(its pretty obvious for power users like us right?)
    Bioshock
    Gears of War
Unreal Tournament III - i swear, this game is second to crysis that is a resource hog.

as far as i've heard, brothers in arms(did i get that right) utilize the GPU multicores. but i havent tried it. ive seen benchmarks with brothers in arms where 4 cores from the GPU split the video into 4. where 1/4 of the video part of the game is processed by a single core from the GPU.

pero if you're looking for a game that uses CPU core utilization, Half-Life 2: Episode Two is.

yes! crysis is indeed a resource hog.. planning to add another 2x1GB memory.. and upgrading to vista ultimate 64bit..

BIOSHOCK, there's a slight downside when having a crossfire setup,, it jumps a frame from time to time.. I need to enable 16X AA and 16X AF in CCC to resolve the frame jumping..
