thanks guys...i used the photostitch that's bundled with the EOS software.
it's best to figure out beforehand what you want the final photo to look like so you'll know more or less where the overlap will be for the stitching when you take your shots. in this stitched photo, if i remember correctly, only a small portion of the middle photo was used - i think its just to the right of the gazebo and half of the building in the middle.
