I beg to disagree bro...so your doubting the abilities of LeBron? a player who can play multiple positions? 1-5 at that! and yet you doubted if he can be of great impact in the World basketball stage? where versatility is a must for every player... How can that be? Oh Cmon! this is a no brainer actually! it certainly doesn't take a genius to figure this out! i mean he would be making mincemeat of the players in his same age bracket back then! if ever he played in a FIBA Under 17 or Under 19 tournament...he would have scored more than a hundred points with his dominating self and sheer talent... He was even still in his early twenties when he almost singlehandedly carried the cavz to the NBA Finals....nuff said!
He will of course with his abilities but can he contribute to winning? I don't think so either. Take note that FIBA is not American type of basketball where individual plays can spell the difference of the game, the game LBJ kinda had in high school where he can literally dominate everybody in all aspects. Why? Because he's playing mostly against kids. And speaking of FIBA sanctioned tournaments, I'm not talking about U-17 or U-19, I'm talking about the World Championships and Olympics itself. At 17, LeBron is too ripe to slug it out against the rest of the world's best, even with all the skillset that he has because he lacks experience, unlike Rubio who's playing for one of Europe's top leagues and against some of the world's best. Try to imagine a 17 y/o LBJ in the Olympics and compare what he can contribute to Rubio (not the stats but the team as a whole), you'll see what I mean. Manu and Saras type of players will just send him to school. His high wire antics for sure will make it to the daily top plays but still ain't a guarantee of USA winning gold, I'd even pick oldie John Stockton over him during that time. Rubio can't give those crazy alley-oops or highlight reels than what LBJ had in his teens but heck I'd still have Rubio and his 3 inch lay-up leap, play more team oriented or "European" type of ball, and win games than a 17 y/o LBJ who'll dunk over people and top the stats charts yet who's international abilities are in doubt, in question, and subject to debate at that age (needs emphasis).

Rubio is compared to Walt Frazier and Steve Nash in the NBA.

    Here's a good read: Ricky Rubio | NBADraft.net

With what he has right now, he's another potential NBA asset and can be among the world's elite in years to come.

naa man bai.... nipis pa lng jud..... natural rman pud nga ing.ana ilang mga body built... can't expect him nga pareho ka bulky nla lebron, kobe, wade, etc... kay in the first place bata pa pud xa nya considering he is not black, then genetically speaking europian players kay ingon ana jud ila framework sa lawas... like pau, ginobili, etc. tan.awa lng gud ni si prince ka nipis anang lawas pero nag silbi man lgi sa NBA..

talent rjud na daugon... kung maayo ka, + extra effort and hardwork inside and outside the court... taas jud kag maabtan sa NBA....

ang kulang lng jud ni rubio kung m.sulod xa sa NBA in the near future is maturity, he needs to adjust to the NBA type of basketball.....

good kid... give him time and in a couple of years, he'll mature enough to adapt to whatever basketball league he would be playing in.

A lot of players entered the NBA being so skinny, Kobe Bryant in 1997 ain't that huge either. If Rubio will be playing in the NBA don't discount the fact that he will be playing in America, a place where all top class supplements, workout regimens, and trainers are available. America is a place where a Betty Boop body can turn into a Johnny Bravo overnight (with better legs). Rubio's got the skills and it needs a little more polishing to fit the NBA, a very good fit for his age. His skinny stature is among the least concerns of GMs and coaches.

Paired to Lebron james at thier age maybe LJ has the advantage 1 on 1.But as a team player ,Hes no match for Ricky Rubio.Lebron james can make his team (Cleveland Cavs)look good when hes scoring better. But a Ricky Rubio can make his team great just by making plays. Not to mention that hes also a great shooter.
