ang exposure kai di man na ma gamit.. it what you do sa shutter, aperture and iso to get an image.. too underexpose you'll get blackout.. too much washout.. balanci lang.. luckily the d40 seires it's very easy...
tips.. set the fn button to ISO

yup yup..set jud ninyo ang FN button to ISO mao na ako gibuhat pud karon..dali ra kaayo e adjust ang ISO.. some bookmarks about photograhpy.

my settings..
focusing: af point, not dynamic
fn button: iso
white balance: auto (handles execptionally well, better than the d80)
ae-af lock: ae lock
