For me, breed matters in choosing a pet; it's just like choosing your toy or even your friend. Different breed has different characteristics, from it's looks to its temperament. So its very important to choose a breed that fits your personality and needs.

me too. akong mga bisaya di man ganahan maligo so im looking into retrievers, kanang ganahan ug tubig...

would be perfect in my weekend trips to the beach and id like him/her to ride with me in my surfboard. ehheehe

I like dogs whatever is the breed but if i choose to get one as a pet i'd like to go for the smaller breeds, i actually specifically like the jack russell terrier.

it depends on the owner.
if you have a kennel for a specific dog breed then obviously mao gyud na imo specialty.

if companionship lang imo nahan, askal or aspin can always do.

pero people have different experiences man gud when it comes to dogs.
maybe sa imo you havent experienced the joy of having a german shepherd around, then dili gyud ka ka-relate sa shepherd owners or breeders why sometimes shepherds are much valued in love and in price. just my two cents.
