geez... just think of the quran as the old testament.. perhaps someone will write quran part 2 soon enough... and call it new quran...

like in the old testament... God was, for the lack of a better term, a jerk... destroying cities, demanding from people to kill their children.. making people march 40 years through deserts etc.. then... came the New testament, and suddenly it seems like God had a little anger management and is totally nice now. Guess since Islam is like 500 years younger than Christianity, they will get their new book soon too, (by the way, sorry to all jews that we call your torah "Old")

at least this thread is in the internet... the perfect place to fight about whose imaginary friend is better and stronger than the imaginary friend of the other guy

It's true anyway, Islam may be so "different" to us but it's just plain ridiculous to discriminate against all Muslims. And please, killing in the name of God? What about the Crusades? Didn't the pope then say something about killing an infidel being the work of God?

miss... you should read the old testament... im a father.. and if god would ask me to kill my child i would think that would be unreasonable too... and if you would do it because you think he/she will stop you at the last minute to tell you he was just testing you, then entire exercise is useless... since you need to be utterly convinced that your child needs to be killed to pass that test.

or the entire stuff about Hiob, i mean.. the poor guy was totally stripped from everything only so god can prove a point to satan... thats kinda unreasonable to me too... there's lots of this stuff in this merry little book.

just like the bible, the word jihad can be interpreted in many ways, it doesn't necessarily mean war with christians and the jews, as some suggest."jihad" or to struggle can be interpreted in many ways (i like.. totally just stolen that from wikipedia")

in a nutshell.. we all want the same.. raise our families in peace and live a good live. people who lose their family or their ability to live a good live or are deprived from it, tend to turn into extremists, and in every conflict... there are black sheep on both sides.

It's not right to discriminate against Muslims neither is it right for Muslims to discriminate against Christians or any religious sect or group for that matter. There are just some members that have a different interpretation of the teachings of their respective religions.

Like this Bravo, he says the killings were acts of the mujaheedins. That means the soldiers of Allah did it. He justifies his orders in the name of his religion. He drags his fellow Moros by saying this. But anyway, I think level-headed people won't generalize the Muslims because everybody knows it was Kato and Bravo who ordered the attacks.

Muslims are ordered to kill the infidels by the way in the name of God Allah, infidels are those enemies and non-believers of Islam. While Christians were taught to love your enemy. That's the difference.

Why Mohammed was not a prophet:

One who claims to be a messenger of God is expected to live a saintly life. He must not be given to lust, he must not be a sexual pervert, and he must not be a rapist, a highway robber, a war criminal, a mass murderer or an assassin. One who claims to be a messenger of God must have a superior character. He must stand above the vices of the people of his time. Yet Muhammad’s life is that of a gangster godfather. He raided merchant caravans, looted innocent people, massacred entire male populations and enslaved the women and children. He raped the women captured in war after killing their husbands and told his followers that it is okay to have *** with their captives and their “right hand possessions” (Quran 33:50) He assassinated those who criticized him and executed them when he came to power and became de facto despot of Arabia. Muhammad was bereft of human compassion. He was an obsessed man with his dreams of grandiosity and could not forgive those who stood in his way. Muhammad was a narcissist like Hitler, Saddam or Stalin. He was astute and knew how to manipulate people, but his emotional intelligence was less evolved than that of a 6-year-old child. He simply could not feel the pain of others. He brutally massacred thousands of innocent people and pillaged their wealth. His ambitions were big and as a narcissist he honestly believed he is entitled to do as he pleased and commit all sorts of crimes and his evil deeds are justified.

Why Quran is not from God:

Muhammad produced no miracles and when pressed he claimed that his miracle is the Quran. Yet a cursory look at the Quran reveals that this book is full of errors. Quran is replete with scientific heresies, historic blunders, mathematical mistakes, logical absurdities, grammatical errors and ethical fallacies. It is badly compiled and it contradicts itself. There is nothing intelligent in this book let alone miraculous. Muhammad challenged people to produce a “Surah like it” or find an error therein, yet Muslims would kill anyone who dares to criticize it. In such a climate of hypocrisy and violence truth is the first casualty.
