Shutter actuations kay ang number of times ni go up and down ang shutter.. Mao ni ang basis sa reselling value sa 2nd hand units. It's pointless to sell a 2nd hand unit at even half the price nya lapas na kau ang shutter actuations sa camera sa rating camera. For this case, 30,000... Beyond that, the camera is a walking time bomb. It's shutter can go dead anytime. It could be at 31,000, 35,000, 40,000 or if you are lucky 60,000. Depende sa pag-gamit. So basically mao na siya...

how do you determine the no. of actuations in 400D

tried googling the canon 400d. mura wala man shutter actuations indicator for this model. ang ako is this cam is very seldom used. and mga little over a year lang ni.

estimate raman gyud... hahaha! or i adto nimo sa Canon..

hehehe! based sa akong experience.... Ang file name sa EOS cameras kay ani "IMG_0000." First shot nimo kay IMG_0001, second kay IMG_0002, and so on. Pero if imo tanawon ang imo pics sa camera, lahi imong makita instead of IMG_0000, ang makita nimo kay 000-0000...

So first shot kay 000-0001, second kay 000-0002, hantod 000-9999. After 000-9999, ang next shot nimo kay ani ang mugawas, 100-0000.... So kabaw naka nga naka 10,000 shutter acuations naka.. So ang next cycle, 100-9999, and sunod ani dili 200-0000 pero 101-000. If 101-0000, meaning 20,000 shutter actuations naka. Mao ni akong na-observe. wala ko kabaw sa 30,000 kay wala paman ko ka-abot ana.. hehehe
