1400+ Headcount, more than we expected

The last COD4 battle ended at around 4am. Awarding Ceremony began mga 3am for the other games. More than 100,000.000 in prizes were given away.

As for the OC competition, for me both of them had really good Overclocks. Its impossible to give people fresh new rigs just to OC them there hehehe. Unless i sponsor na. All OC competitions around the world compete with non similar rigs. Thats part of the fun, choosing which you think will be the right parts to boost up your OC Hopefully next time, more people will join not that they understand how it works. Imagine, we gave at a powersupply worth more than P10,000.00 Pesos.

I commend Ryan and BO for joining. They are willing to show and share the world their skillz and what they can do. They are good examples of great CEBUANO enthusiasts. Ambot asa ang uban overclockers diri Anyhoo, next time, hopefully with more contestants, we can seperate AIR and Waterooling na and we will also have different types like BREAKING GIG BARRIERS, SPEED and CRUNCHING JUNKIES, VIDEO CARD BENCHIES etc.. This was the second ever PUBLIC OC Competition in CEBU the first being around 6 years ago at Mango Square at an ARCtech event there.
I think OC GAIN is the safest OC competition since it just shows how much percentage you have OC'D your system which is the true essentials of Overclocking.

The PSP goup had their awarding Ceremony Early in the evening, they were there the whole time playing KILLZONE and we comend themn for joining as well. I spoke with sir NEOS and he told me for sure during the next LP he will put up his shop there and make sure there will be a bigger tournament for PSP, PS3, Xbox etc.. Cant wait for that!

Thank also to the very COOL RC DRAG group, while PC gamers were fraggin, they were draggin hahaha! Indeed very cool, maka tintal!

And of course EGAMES, the LP wouldnt have been the same without them. Believe sad ko sa mga online players nila around 300+ participants gud grabeh! Lingaw sad kaayo sila tanawun!

well, anyway, kudos to you, nindot man gihapon ang OC competition. nag mahay gani ko nanu wala ko nipalit ug P35 na board gahapon, maski nangutang lang ta ba, kay kaya ra kaayo ang 80%+ na OC nya 1M na super Pi sa E2140. nya gipasamot pa jud ako pagmahay -pag kita nako na stock cooler lang ang gigamit.

di lang gud ko ka risk kaayo sa ako mga parts, ma paig niya didto, pero, as they say, no pain, no gain.

uhm, maybe next time, maka kita mu sponsors sa mga parts. like the MSI OC contest, naa mga available na parts, pili lang bah.

also there were more SPECTATORS than PLAYERS. thats why your head count was so high, moms and families were there lol. and students just watching dota.. if i had to guess. 500 were gamers and the 1000 were spectators bringing nothing

the Lan party people who brought their own computers was dismal, i mean only 2 tables were filled. probably less than 20 people brought their own computers, INCLUDING ME.

Internet was slow lol i think the whole connection was shared to 200+ computers.

i was disappointed with the counterstrike, it was incompatible with my source since they were using 1.6.... thats old.

also there were hardly any dota players. playing free games. i mean everyone was just in for the tournament, and took the money away

watching the drift racing was fun, there shouldve been some program or something. lol ryan was funny as an EMCEE coz he didnt know the parts of the rig with regards to the OC competition

overall it wasnt the best experience. say 5/10. wasted most of my time there imo.

btw it wasnt a total loss i got 2nd place with jomzz are RB69 for the psp tournament and we didnt get anything lol. but it was fun

huh? did you pay 350? unless you paid 350 entrance (only for those bringing in their own PC) then you get nothing but be a spectator. although you can join the tourney by renting a PC.

I don't know about your CS:Source version but the tourney players were playing it just fine.

I agree the internet connection sux though.

All players MUST use default models. Sprites
All players MUST use default sprites. If a player is found using ANY NON-STANDARD sprite during event matches, it will be considered a violation of the rules and will result in a loss, and immediate player termination, and possible team termination. This includes all smoke, players, weapons, and crosshairs sprites.

Configuration Files

Players are NOT allowed to have any other configuration files inside the cstrike/configs directory other than a config.cfg and autoexec.cfg. Any other configuration files found will be considered in violation of the rules and will result in a loss while making the player and/or team subject to termination.

All players' Config.cfg files must include only default commands. There are to be no additions to this file under any circumstances. If any player chooses to add commands to this file, the player and or team are subject to suspension or termination from the event.

All players that choose to use an autoexec.cfg must do so using specific guidelines set by the MBM tournament FPS config. The commands found in this config are to be the only commands found in your autoexec.cfg. There are to be no aliases or double-binds outside of buy-binds in your autoexec.cfg.

Any player choosing to not follow the guidelines set by the MBM tournament FPS Config will be subject to termination from the tournament.
