    in windows XP..... i tried using chkdsk /R (attenpts to repair all curropted files)

    try to use the windows vista equivalent command.

    Have you try CHKDSK /F/X

    hmmm, thats no good.

    damaged hard drive or corrupted os is already the culprit.

    maypa i-reformat na nimo. kasuway ko ana. ang usa ka slave drive cgeg chkdsk kada restart. akng gi suwayn ug manual nga chkdsk. naguba nuon.

    naka agi na ko ani nga problem. what i did is right click ang drive nga mag sige og scan disk then click properties, then adto sa tools then adto error checking. check both boxes then start. it solved my problem with scandisk, i hope it will solve yours

    run regedit

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
    SYSTEM
    CURRENTCONTROLSET
    CONTROL
    SESSION MANAGER

    edit BootExecute
    autocheck autochk /k c:d:e:f: *

    But scandisk it from time2time. Everyweek would be advisable.
