I had some issues with the 64-bit version, like that there is no driver for Vista 64 for the Microsoft Fingerprint Reader (imagine that, they dont have even driver for their own products) and some other minor issues, but beside that, its not much of a difference for me compared to Vista 32 (what I am using now).

yeah, there are some hardware issues floating around. but i never had problems with software so far. every 32bit program i installed seems to be working flawlessly. and yeah, there isn't much difference with speed. you only start noticing the advantages with 64bit programs and games. the sad part, there isn't much out there, yet...

there are a few isolated cases of software problems, but, these are not unique to 64bit alone. 32bit still has it's fair share of bugs. the only problem i ran into was when i had to modify the driver for my Videocard in order for it to work with HDMI. it proved to be a challenged since 64bit doesn't allow unsigned drivers to be used. i had to disable the signed driver enforcement with each boot. i don't turn off my pc that much so it wasn't a real pain in the neck. luckily, NVIDIA was doing something right and fixed my problem with one of their forceware updates. now, i have no problem whatsoever with DVI to HDMI configurations. cheers!
