Wow thats kind of hard to find now socket 423 was the older Intel P4 na mobo and u have to contend sometimes with the older memory ana kay na in lab man ang intel before with RDRAM (propietary memory type)
. But u can try finding it sa FastWin in Mandaue or Maxsaver near SHS Boys they sell surplus so maybe naa pa sila ana.

just wanna ask, does motherboard's brand matters with regards to PC performance? even if they have the same chipset.
and if it does, what's the best motherboard brand for AMD?

its the same as asking why do you buy kingston, mushkin, pqi or geil ram.
every motherboard manufacturer has its own qaulity standards
I believe its best you check out hardware reviews

I agree with this list. I'd personally stay away from MSI or Gigabyte. Sure their fine for about a year... until their capacitors start to leak afterwards. Wish you luck then.

Well what differs mostly is the quality of chips and capacitors they use. Different manufacturers have different ways of implementing boards. So its not just the chipset it can drastically affect performance. Thats why when you check at review sites of motherboards with different chipsets, they have different performance levels.
