HELP Sudden hang and garbage display intermittently

Hello mga master! patabang jud ko ninyo...

SPECS: (2 months old)
mobo: M2N-MX SE PLUS
cpu: AMD Athlon 4800+ X2 AM2 Dual Core
Memory: 2 x 1GB PC 800 Kingston
HDD: 200GB Samsung Spinpoint

"PRIMARY PROBLEM"
- Sudden hang and garbage display intermittently. (4x) na ni occur.

I need your opinion if sakto bani ako gi buhat. In bios heres the settings...

PRIMARY GRAPHICS ADAPTER
[PCIE-PCI-IGP] or [IGP-PCI-PCIE]

In default ang [PCIE-PCI-IGP] mao ni ang setting, pero what I am using an onboard video sakto bai akong configuration [IGP-PCI-PCIE]

Btw, Whats IGP stands for? what does it means? "Integrated Graphics Processor"

If set to default [PCIE-PCI-IGP] unsa iya epekto? possibly ba magkabuang if dili ni mao ang choice of configuration? pwede bani mo cause ug hanging and display error?

Right now ako gi figure out asa jud ang problema sa akong PC I dont know pa sa karon kay intermittent man gud and to think ni engaged cya ug video ug memory so basically mao ni akong gi isolate ron. When setting to the [IGP-PCI-PCIE] right now so far okay cya then naa cya difference like mas smoother cya ug mas paspas.

Before I just leave it to default then as what I have understand I should set into onboard or integrated graphics. I hope sakto ko sa akong choice.

I already updated the BIOS by the way. Akong gi obserbahan karon ang mobo nalang jud coz ang uban ako nanang na test and found out no problem. So karon ako i isolate ang small error nga mo cause ba jud ug big problem such like wrong configuration in bios.


Pls help mga master need kaayo nako inyo opinion. SALAMAT

ang kanang garbage display or BLUE screen of death (para nako) kay sign na of hardware failure.. either naa guba imo hardware or your hardware is not supplied with the right amount of voltage needed.. i state sad bai kung kanus-a xa mu blue screen.. kung mag duwa ba ka... or inig turn on nmu kay mu blu screen xa... nya try to check your power supply... kay mostly mao na ang root of all hardware failures...

I am not mentioning bluescreen bro....wala mag bluescreen

Ako nana gi replaced ang PSU to bnew psu same problem japun.

Even using msword, browsing mo hangup cya ug mo garbage display then it locks down. no keyb and mouse all lights are on from cpu, mouse and keyb but there is no way you can ctrl alt del just have to press the restart button of the casing. When playing games dili mo occur and its very smooth...

Mga bro mao ni ang image display ig after sa hang, it takes 2-4 seconds ig hang niya mo display ni cya...

Mao ni actual kuha niya sensya lang mo kay cellphone ang kuha unya hanap, pero mao jud ni ang iya mo gawas.







Ever in my life karon rako kasugat ani....

Anyone who has an experience of this please suggest, anyone whos using the same mobo I have pls also suggest. Thanks...

mao ni ang blue screen na akong gpa sabot... mao ba ni ang mugawas sa imo PC??

back to d topic..

in my opinion bai.. based on your story.. u hav ur PC for 2months already... so i think dili jd na xa sa imong BIOS setting... kay ni dagan na gud xa for 2 months or basin naa ka g.experiment maong na ing-ana imo PC.. kung naa man ibalik lang sa karaan... peru if wala.. naa ra jud na sa imo hardware bai...
u said na imo nang na check ang uban hardware except sa mobo... nka try na ba ka ug using only 1 ram.. using on-board video card... or gamitan ug eraser imong mga contact points sa RAM or video card.. nya check sad sa imo mobo kung naa bay ni burut na mga capacitors or murag nag basa nga mga ICs... nya check sad sa imong PC temperature bai... kay mao sad na ang other cause of hardware failures...

aw... nka sugat nku ana nga display... kanang murag nag wave2x na display na?? sa akoa kay power supply jd to ang problema... try to see daw bro kung imong power supply kay mka supply ba jd ug tarong sa imong system... kay basin d ka daug imo power supply sa mga loads na iyang gpang hanlde...

I am using a 500W PSU generic dala sa casing, infact pag occur sa problema akong gi pulihan ug new PSU generic rapud.
Do you think its the PSU? based sa akong SPECS do you think kaya kaha sa generic psu?

In regards sa expirement, wla ko gi buhat I only updated the drivers before pero akong gi balik ang cd drivers same ra japun mao nag sugod nato ang problema. I usually LOAD SETUP DEFAULTS sa bios wala jud ko nag experiment etc..

In regards to hardware failures, how come the ASUS mobo will screwed badly? If naka sugat ka ana unsa imo specs? unsa imo PSU? Unsa sad nahitabo sa imoha b4? unsa imo remedy gi buhat? Na sakpan nimo ang problema jud?

In regards to BSOD bros, wala lage mag ing ana akong PC ever, then wala sad mag restart restart..kana ra hanging after 1 month...then mag play kog MP3 mag looping loop meaning na hang jud cya..

I dont know bai asa jud mao gani ako gi figure out asa jud coz if sa memory why ma apil man ang display?

One last thing, in regards to the BIOS setting sakto bana akong gi set karon?

kana imo gi setup sa bios sa Boot Display Device Priority raman na boss.. wala nay connection sa imong hang ups...

Lage, pero dili bana ka cause ug system malfunction nga ako gi pasabot?

Right now I am really having a hardtime of searching and guessing the error or fault where jud as I am now isolating the mobo and memory...pero dako ko pagtuo ang mobo jud...intermittent man gud cya dili jud ko maka recreate niya when mo occur.

One time yesterday pag gamit nakog ASUSPROBE ni alert cya mb temperature is too high pero 40-47C ra gud, well the asusprobe is set to 43C so mo alert jud cya pero normal ra akong temperature anyway. Kaya lang one time ni alert cya ni occur ang ika 4x na hangup ug garbage display as in total hangup jud.

I dont know unsa ako pasanginlang ani...pls help..thanks..
