want the best try this: magellanwars.com (this was named archspace before) its the best for me.. ive tried travian and tribalwars. the turns are just slow and it takes a lot of time to play compared to MAGELLANWARS. if you want spaceships and starwars in a web browser type setting.. then Magellanwars is for you. ^_^

try Ikariam - The free browser game. its as close to civilization that i know of.
