that EPHESIANS 2 is take wrongly and interpreted by people want to escape obligations when serving GOD.
by believing that FAITH ALONE CAN SAVE is a clear sign of choosing a RELIGION that will tolerate their works which is not biblical.

rcruman, if you read my explanation about faith alone then you wouldn't be confused with the question above.
good works is the confirmation of being saved. if i am saying that I am saved but I see that my life doesn't equate the fruits of the Spirit then there could be something wrong. for sure, i could say that i am not saved. it's like an apple tree not producing apples. if one is a True Believer (saved by Faith and enthroned by the Holy Spirit already as said in eph 1:13-14) then it is but natural to present that result into good works. Again, good works confirms ones salvation.
if you are saved, you will be fellowshipping to people who are saved - that's the reason for going to church.
if you are saved, you will gave to the work of ministry so that the amount you gave can finance in some way to reach out to other people who are not yet saved.
if you are saved, you will follow what Christ taught in the Bible as a result of your faith.
those things i mentioned are biblically taught and logically easy to understand.
Thought to Ponder: if one can be saved by good works, then Christ should not have died in the cross because what's the purpose? Jesus said, 'it is finished'. He is the ultimate '
LAMB OF GOD WHO TAKES AWAY THE SINS OF THE WORLD'.
